As homebrew frequency counters didn't leave early prototype state until now, we bought a kit off funkamateur.de and decided to build a really nice custom enclosure for it. Front and back panels are sideways 19" module rack size – 3 HU wide, 30 mm high. A Teko box just wouldn't have sufficed. Construction took an enormous amount of time, but it was worth it. Nicest enclosure to date!

Lid and bottom are 1.5 mm aluminium bent (hammered) in the bench vice. Some parts show signs of this mistreatment. Could be improved on in the future. Someday we'll have a sheet metal bender.
